The National Science Policy Network (NSPN)
The National Science Policy Network (NSPN), a 501 (c) 3, will partner with SPEAKS to assist in disseminating the SPEAKS pedagogy and provide trainees networking, internship, and presentation opportunities. Founded in 2018, NSPN aims to catalyze the engagement of early career scientists and engineers in policy making by fostering an inclusive community, training new generations of diverse leaders, and empowering advocates for the role of science in society. Blackstone Research & Evaluation
Blackstone Research & Evaluation serves as the external evaluator for the SPEAKS project. Utilizing customized evaluation instruments, Blackstone provides statistical analysis which synthesizes data into actionable feedback and strategic insights. Blackstone provides narrative reports based upon the data which articulate accomplishments, offer recommendations to achieve desired outcomes, and highlight the impact of the SPEAKS program.
