SFI develops and evaluates low-carbon fuel pathways, including hydrogen and renewable natural gas, through experimental research, energy systems modeling, life cycle assessment, and techno-economic analysis.

Sustainable Integrated Grid Initiative
SIGI integrates renewable generation, energy storage, electric and hybrid vehicles, and smart grid controls to advance resilient microgrids, bidirectional charging, load management, and clean energy deployment.
