UC Riverside and the University of Michigan brought together 100 attendees from more than 60 organizations for the Fall 2026 North American Hydrogen Engine Conference in Detroit. The two-day event explored hydrogen engine research, emissions, infrastructure, economics, safety, and deployment, with CE-CERT researchers contributing work on real-world vehicle testing.
The University of California, Riverside (UCR) and the University of Michigan have officially launched the Hydrogen Engine Alliance of North America (H2EA-NA), an initiative designed to accelerate innovation and deployment of hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2-ICE).
