Join us from April 22nd to April 26th for a meaningful initiative as CE-CERT hosts a Food Drive to support R’Pantry, a crucial resource for UCR students combating food insecurity. This event presents an opportunity for our team to come together and make a tangible difference in the lives of our fellow students.
- What to Donate: Please refer to the attached wishlist for items needed. We welcome donations of unopened, unexpired, non-perishable goods such as canned food, dry goods, shelf-stable foods, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, household care items, and child/infant care items.
- Where to Donate: A collection bin will be conveniently placed in the CE-CERT Lobby throughout the week.
- About R’Pantry: R’Pantry is a vital resource center for UCR students experiencing food insecurity. It provides access to nutritious food, connects students with additional food resources on and off-campus, and offers programs and workshops aimed at promoting health and wellness.
- Who Benefits: R’Pantry services are available to all currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, including international and undocumented students. Additionally, R’Pantry and UCR Staff Assembly co-sponsor monthly Staff Pantry events.
- Why Donate: Research indicates that approximately 60% of students across the UC system face food insecurity. Your donation can make a significant impact in supporting these students and ensuring they have access to essential resources.
