New Interdisciplinary Health Disparities Center Announced

CE-CERT is participating as a collaborator in the newly announced Health Disparities Research Center under the leadership of the School of Medicine. Other partners include the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS), and the School of Public Policy (SPP), as well as collaborators in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS). One of the first projects will be to study environmental exposures, particularly from aerosols originating from the salton sea, and childhood asthma in the Eastern Coachella Valley.
