CE-CERT Room 105

CE-CERT is committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for minors, but ensuring their safety is paramount. Join us, in collaboration with campus Risk Management and Praesidium, on May 7, 2024, for an interactive training addressing the protection of minors and abuse prevention.

This comprehensive training will equip attendees with essential knowledge, including understanding child sexual abuse in a university setting, identifying red-flag behaviors, implementing best practices, and navigating mandated reporting requirements. Participants will also learn how to prevent sexual misconduct between minors and effectively report concerns.

Choose from two sessions on May 7th at CE-CERT Room 105:

  1. 10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Youth Protection and Preventing Abuse in Higher Education
  2. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Youth Protection and Preventing Abuse in Higher Education

Lunch will be provided in between sessions @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

Attendance at one of the two sessions is mandatory for all CE-CERT personnel. In the event that you are unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances, please contact ssalsgiv@ucr.edu as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
