Joe Valdez
Automotive Technician
Mr. Valdez joined CE-CERT in February of 2000 as a development technician with responsibility for driving and vehicle preparation. Mr. Valdez has worked for approximately 35 years in the automotive industry. Much of this experience is in the autobody repair, painting, and color matching. His career includes stints with Dupont, PPG, Martin Senior, and Sherwin-Williams. With each of these companies he received technical and/or management training in the areas of body work, frame work, general automotive, and automotive painting. Mr. Valdez is certified to meet EPA 1151 requirements for general automotive and automotive refinishing work. Mr. Valdez has also worked as VOC and painter logger to ensure compliance with EPA regulations.
