Atmospheric Processes

atmospheric chamber

In this research area, CE-CERT researchers explore the fate of pollutants in the atmosphere by conducting atmospheric measurements, environmental chamber experiments, and computer modeling. The primary research focus is the photochemical reaction of primary emissions to secondary pollutants such as ozone and fine particulate matter. Measurements are also used to characterize fugitive emission sources of ammonia and particulate matter.
