John Pisano
Senior Development Engineer
Mr. Pisano received his Bachelors degree in Applied Physics from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and his M.Sc. in Atmospheric Physics from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He recently joined CE-CERT as Senior Development Engineer to work on the design of the next-generation atmospheric chamber. Mr. Pisano had been employed at Unisearch Associates for the past 15 years. Initially as a research engineer, his primary function was in the development and application of Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy and chemiluminescent techniques for trace gas monitoring. He has over twenty publications, primarily on this research. The last four years of his employment at Unisearch, Mr. Pisano held the position of Technical Sales Manager, where he was able to introduce almost 100 Tunable Diode Laser systems with gross revenue exceeding $10,000,000, for use in several different industrial applications. Mr. Pisano has received R & D contracts with numerous industries and is author or co-author on many industrial papers and reports. He remains a consultant to Unisearch.
